Suné Luus (Captain)
Initially more of a bowler, she has dramatically improved as a batter and currently boasts just over 1000 runs in ODIs and just under a 1000 in T20s.
Chloé Tryon (Vice captain)
An all-rounder scoring nearly 2 000 runs in the two white-ball formats at an average in the mid-20s. She is also a handy slow left-arm spinner
Anneke Bosch
An all-rounder with a right-hand bat and right-arm medium-pacer hammered a game-winning 66 not out from 49 balls in the first game of the T20I series.
Tazmin Brits
Debuting in a Twenty20 against Bangladesh in May 2018, the right-hander had a regular spot in the 50-over side for the series victory over West Indies.
Nadine de Klerk
Loves an adventure, especially if it is water-related. Nadene’s best cricketing moment is the semi-final against Australia. She’s an all-rounder with right-handed batting style and right-arm medium bowler.
Annerie Dercksen
All-rounder with right-handed batting style and right arm medium bowling style, Annerie is proud to represent her country in the T20 series. Admires AB de Villiers and learns by watching his technique.
Lara Goodall
Part of the Six Gun Grill Western Province team, Lara is a specialist batter with a left-handed batting style. She’s learned techniques by watching fellow left-handed batsman, JP Duminy.
Shabnim Ismail
Bowler with over 200 wickets in the international arena and is on the brink of becoming the 1st player to land 100 strikes in both 50-over and 20-over cricket.
Sinalo Jafta
Made her ODI debut against New Zealand in Oct 2016 & T20 debut against Pakistan in May 2019. Awarded a national contract (wicketkeeper) by Cricket South Africa.
Marizanne Kapp
All-rounder at an international level - a fast bowler by trade, her lower order-hitting has made her one of the most dangerous players for South Africa.
Ayabonga Khaka
Raked up triple figures in wickets across T20 and ODI cricket for the Momentum Proteas Women. Claimed her 50th wicket in 50-over cricket in 2018.
Masabata Klaas
More than 50 wickets to her name for the Momentum Proteas & closing in on 50 ODI caps, while she’s also played 37 T20s since her international debut.
Nonkululeko Mlaba
Her best performance to date was 56 not out with 5 wickets in hand. Nonkululeko is an all-rounder bowler (slow left arm) with a right-arm batting style. She looks up to Imran Tahir as he’s an amazing bowler.
Delmi Tucker
Her most noticeable match was SA emerging vs Zimbabwe: 65 with the bat and 2-14. Delmari is an all-rounder with a right-handed batting style and right arm off spin. Her favourite cricket player is AB de Villiers.
Laura Wolvaardt
Established opening batter, she became the youngest centurion (male or female) for South Africa in international cricket against Ireland in 2016, aged only 17.
