How to activate Accident Alert

Ensure you're a policyholder Make sure that you're an active Momentum Insure car and home insurance policyholder.
Download the Momentum App Available from the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or the Huawei App Gallery.
Register for our safety features SafeDayzTM and Safety Alert.
Register for Accident Alert Confirm your personal details, and accept the terms and conditions.
Check your Accident Alert status This can be viewed in the portfolio view on the Momentum App.

Accident Alert FAQs

To register and access the Accident Alert feature, you must be an active Momentum Insure policyholder. Safe DayzTM and Safety Alert need to be activated to achieve optimal functionality.

GPS, motion sensors, and accelerometers in your phone detect in real time
 if you have come to an abrupt halt or decelerated sharply. Your GPS location 
is also used to dispatch emergency responders in the event of an accident. 

Yes, you will need to always have GPS enabled for this feature to work.
